A culinary gem: Margaux delivers on every level Margaux is the kind of restaurant that proves you don’t need an extensive menu; just a well-curated one where every dish is something you want to try. From start to finish, our meal was a delight. We began with the burratina, a beautifully delicate dish that set the tone for what was to come. The roasted octopus was perfectly tender, and the truffle gnocchi was pure indulgence, bathed in a rich, velvety sauce that we eagerly mopped up with fresh bread and a pat of butter with fragrant red peppercorns. For mains, the three-way lamb was executed to perfection, but the cod stole the show... cooked just right, full of flavour, and memorable. Every bite was complemented by a selection of red and white wines that elevated the meal. Beyond the food, the experience was enhanced by the attentive service. The ambient lighting added to the charm, creating an intimate, upscale atmosphere that I personally love. Margaux is a place you go for an effortlessly elegant dining experience.

Lovely restaurant with beautiful interview, great service and food to die for. Had the octopus salad and tortollini to start. Very fresh and flavourful. We had the salmon and steak for mains with some lovely wine to pair. We booked on first table so our food was half price!

Wonderful French food near South Kensington. The service was especially something to rave about, every staff member was welcoming and kind! The Kitchen even sent out a lovely dessert and start on the house because it was our anniversary dinner. Atmosphere was relaxing and chill, great vibes and I loved the food, especially the soup and my duck. Thank you Margaux :)

A little pricey, but the food was absolutely amazing. Octopus had a combination or accompaniying side making it tender, melting and crispy all at the same time. And the beef bourguignon was a classic, slow cooked making it melting in the mouth. I will definitely be back for a special occasion. The wine selection and recommendation was extremely good! I definitely recommend the place for someone wanting a wine pairing with their food. One of my colleague went for an event, and she mentioned having some of her best wine there.

I tried the octopus and truffle gnocchi appetizers, followed by the sea bass fillet and the duck main courses. The appetizers were good, but the mains were really delicious. The sea bass was cooked perfectly and so was the duck breast - not too fatty but extremely juicy and flavorful. The service was very good and the atmosphere was friendly and casual. The prices are fair for what you get.

The team is warm, professional and attentive without being intrusive. Service is quick and efficient and they genuinely ensure every guest feels well looked after while respecting your privacy. The food is absolutely outstanding. The quality of the meat is exceptional, the dishes are fresh, expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The fish was particularly flavorful and cooked to perfection. A special mention for the raspberry and pistachio Mille-feuille—truly a standout dessert! A huge Well Done to the entire team for creating such a wonderful dining experience!
